CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke is pleased and proud to announce that two of our members have been chosen as winners of the 2006/2007 Digital Arts Festival sponsored by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Microsoft and Best Buy.
Christian Agron, age 14 of our Satellite Unit at Toepfert Apartments has been chosen winner of the Web Design portion of the contest. Hector Rivie, age 14 of our Teen Center Program at the Nick Cosmos Unit has been chosen the winner of the Design Contest.
Christian was tasked with creating an on-line newspaper…and his work far exceeded everyone’s expectations! We hope you take some time to read Christian’s on-line paper and catch up on all the news at our Toepfert Unit! Web Design Link (Click Here)
Hector’s creativity is the basis for the magazine cover which he designed showcasing his passion for skateboarding. Please take a moment to log on to the Graphic Design Link (Click Here) and appreciate the layout, images and color choices. Both Christian and Hector were chosen as National Winners of their age groups in their respective areas of design.
